The Henderson Development Association (HDA) with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and several Henderson city officials joined CD Palmer, Founder of the Independent Entertainer’s Association, on the stage of the Henderson Pavilion April 4th, 2009.
Together they performed the ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the Independent Entertainers Association (IEA).
IEA was also honored to have Gerri Schroder, Henderson City Councilwoman, attend the ribbon cutting ceremony. “It means a lot when an important elected official, such as Gerri Schroder, takes the time to come to our event”, said Mr. Palmer. He added that The Rock the Economy concert is only the first of many events IEA plans to do in the City of Henderson.

Today CD Palmer, the founder of The Independent Entertainers Association (IEA), officially announced IEA’s partnership with an investor for the construction and development of a brand new recording studio for the benefit of members of the IEA.This new facility is built around the newest and most sophisticated technologies and has been designed to create the leverage necessary for independent artists to successfully compete with the “mainstream” entertainment industry. This advantage is crucial in the areas of production and distribution.The studio will be located at the 3007 W. Horizon Ridge office of IEA in Henderson, NV.
Construction of the recording studio is scheduled to be completed by the end of March, 2009 as part of the ROCK THE ECONOMY economic stimulus movement and free music concert tour.The primary mission of this studio is to assist independent artists with their professional growth and development in “the business” of entertainment.Various programs have been created and structured for both the novice and the seasoned professional.

IEA and LVTN have created the first Independent Entertainment Television Network.

The result is the first official television network dedicated to serve independent entertainers and artists,and the first television network to be located in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson.The studio is located at 3007 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052.
Las Vegas’s Channel 35 officially became known as “Vegas 35″ with the call letters changed to KVTE June 17, 2005 and broadcasts an All Vegas All The Time original programming format 24 hours a day with 24 shows on the air.
An Independent Entertainer’s Association channel for the IEA membership will provide distribution and promotional resources to IEA members that never existed before. Special advertising rates and promotional programs will be available to members, businesses and ad agencies to help showcase independent artists of all genres including Rock and Roll, Comedy, Models, Fashion Designers, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Talk, Sports and more.
